paul mccartney, the red hot chili peppers and nine inch nails were the top headliners. 65,000 fans packed the park each day. officials kept the party very ecofriendly. >> at each recycling bin they had a person manning the stations, making sure that people put the compost in the right bins, recycle in the right bins. after the event was over, they went through and cleaned up the park by hand. they were going around with plastic bags picking up trash. it was pretty clean every night....
